T20 V Barrabool 17.11.15

Tuesday night saw us take part in the first round robin T20 game, as we travelled out to Barrabool. Losing the toss. Losing the toss, we were sent in to bat in a decision that proved costly for the home side. After losing Ned Cooper 11 (7) and Brett Venables 15 (10) we fell to 2-26. However a 151 run, third wicket partnership put us in a great position. Darcy Cooper was the next to fall, being caught out for 57 (50). Dale Kerr didn’t last long as he was bowled for a duck. Jacimovic was the last man out as he was caught on the boundary on the final ball of the innings for a stunning 125 (45) in an innings that consisted 18 fours and 7 sixes.

Then out we went to bowl and after a fast start from the home side, they continued to lose wickets as we continued to swap the bowlers around to restrict them to 9-189. Brett Venables was the only multiple wicket taker while, N. Cooper, Jacimovic, Morrow, S. Umbers and Kerr all took one apiece.
